I love this spot in the library. It is isolated, peaceful and has a pleasant view!
My favorite place on campus stems from a simple study room. Despite its mundane exterior, the study room offers me a refuge from the outside world, a space for when I need some alone time. With light emanating through the blinds, the room morphs into a space that reminds one of their childhood bedroom, especially when the afternoon sun peers through the window.
On the fourth floor of the Inman building, there's doors to a balcony. It's my only favorite "spot" on campus. It's quiet. No one's ever up there nor on its floor. You also get a surprisingly good view of the city. 10/10 spot.
This is the place where I found myself every slow sunny day for four years. I look at it now and find every iteration of my college self lounging on the green.
I’ve always been captivated by the old side of campus, especially in the springtime. It's absolutely beautiful and I love seeing people reading and playing their guitars under the trees. I think this spot truly captures the character of Belmont.
Being alone is a rarity on campus, so places in isolation like the bottom of a parking garage or the top of this stairwell give me peace of mind.
The creek that runs through the lawn of the upperclassmen apartment lawns has always been a calm and relaxing place to me. It takes me back to my hometown and relaxing by or fishing in the Stones River.
